Interesting things coming out of Japan regarding UFOs

Japan has always had an interesting history with UFOs. From the Utsurobune tale, to the Japan Airlines Flight 1628 incident. While doing my daily search on UFO news, I’ve recently come across several articles documenting a rising interest in the topic, along with a brief TLDR. https://www.asahi.com/sp/ajw/articles/14406251 Japanese Air Self-Defense Force pilots have had multiple encounters with UAP. Most of them have been hesitant to report sightings because of stigma attached. Japan has recently developed protocol for documenting events. Japan has no interest in developing a SETI type program. https://asia.nikkei.com/Spotlight/Comment/Time-for-Japan-to-get-real-on-UFO-intelligence-sharing Defense Secretary Taro Kono issued an unusual order to the Self-Defense Forces to take visual records and analyze UFO sightings. Kono is in agreement with Mark Esper to share information on UAP sightings with the United States. https://mainichi.jp/english/articles/20210625/p2a/00m/0na/046000c International UFO lab opens a research facility in Fukushima on world UFO day. I’m sure most of this has been posted here, and I’m sure the glaringly obvious point has been brought up that if UAP do show an interest in nuclear capabilities, Japan would be a natural hotspot due to Hiroshima/Nagasaki/Fukashima. submitted by /u/Defiant-Mushroom-873 [link] [comments]
