Well, now, things just get curiouser and curiouser. After having recently written about the national flag of Ecuador, which prominently features a Roman fasces underlying its central motif, I decided to take a look at some other flags for evidence of the Roman fasces. It wasn’t long until I stumbled across the original, “unofficial,” flag of the U$$A state of Colorado, adopted in 1876.
