The book had various stories related to UFO sightings, cryptically like big foot, Loch Ness monster, pterodactyls etc. I read this as a kid on loan from my fourth grade teacher and before I could return it my dog tore it to shreds. It was a mass market paper back and it was decently old, I’d say published in the 70’s or 80’s. Maybe a couple hundred pages long.
