Introduction I have only been on this subreddit a short time and yet I have learned a lot about what is in our sky. I have also noticed this sub is prevalent with easily identifiable UFO reports, redundant posts, and poor quality sightings. As civilian observers we don’t have access to the equipment that the scientific community and military do. We have our eyes and a cell phone. This guide is my attempt at educating the amateur UFO enthusiast or casual observer who has seen a questionable object in the sky. The goal is quality reporting. Based on military accounts and scientific research it would appear that the most compelling UAPs operate either cloaked or at extremely high speeds rendering any optical observation nearly impossible.1 2 3 Understanding this we can make an assumption: slow moving unidentified objects are either 1) mundane objects 2) UAPs performing some task that requires low speed 3) UAPs deliberately showing themselves and possibly trying to communicate as with Ryan Graves’ account. 4 5 ————————————————————————– 1 Unidentified aerial phenomena I.
