The 35 redacted encounter reports said the Navy witheld another 116 that were classified. The reports are said to have shined a new light on 2019 reports about a swarming of a U.S. destroyer by four drones, among other suspicious findings. American Military News reports: Recent years have seen the U.S. open up about military reports of unidentified aerial phenomena, or UFOs by another name. Speculation has likewise raged about whether reported objects are extraterrestrial or made on Earth. However, the new reports use neither the words UFO nor “UAP,” and the reports don’t claim the aircraft have any extraordinary capabilities, as has been alleged in other instances, The War Drive reported.
