Why aren't the operation mainbrace's UFO sightings discussed more on this sub? It's like the Nimitz incident from 1952.

I’m really surprised by the lack of coverage of Operation Mainbrace’s UFO sightings from 1952 on this sub. In my opinion, these are some of the most compelling sightings from the period (ever?) and affected multiple nation’s governmental policy on how UFO cases would be handled going forward (ring a bell??). In total, there were at least five separate sightings during a short period all seen by multiple pilots/officers, one photographed and one with multiple radar confirmation (going over 1,000 mph). For those unfamiliar with the case, i highly recommend watching UFO Europe Untold stories (Disney) for a good overview (the rest of the series is also worth a watch). Here is a quick summary, forgive any omissions: Context : The operation mainbrace occurred in September 1952 as the first official exercise carried out by the Allied Command Atlantic (ACLANT). ACLANT was one of the two main military arms of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
